Afternoon on the Bridge (at 31st Busan International Film Festival)
South Korea, 11 minutes
A sad-looking man stands under a bridge cutting across the heart of city. When he skillfully skips stones, a woman watching him from the other side throws stones into the water. Is the man playing the saxophone in the background a helper or a nuisance? One afternoon in a bustling city, a romance blooms like a mirage, tantalizingly close but always just out of reach. (KANG Sowon)
